Jimmy Dale Woody

Memorials may be made to Harvester Christian Church. Woody, Jim, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at the age of 74. Dearest husband of Janis M. Woody; dear son of the late William Harley and Leila Woody; devoted father of Jeffery Allen (Migdalia) Woody, Jill Ann (Lance) Meyers and Stephanie Lynn (Daniel) Schwent; beloved grandfather of Erin (John) Vollmer, Kristin Meyers, Megan Woody, Josh Meyers, Kathryn Woody and Cameron Schwent; great-grandfather of Blake Meyers and Colton Meyers. He is preceded in death by his brother, Harley Dean Woody. He was employed with American National, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Sundermeyer & Associates Brokerage Group, and Jim Woody & Associates. He spent his lifetime serving the Lord, teaching Sunday school, and singing in the choir and in gospel quartets for the church. Jim also enjoyed sports and was a former Little League coach. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals, Mizzou sports, photography, computers, painting and bird watching.
