Jimmy G. Ridenour, of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of 39 years to Sandra Ridenour; cherished son of the late John and Ella Ridenour; devoted father of Christine (Tim) Boothby, Michele (Vanice Kay Cockreham) Ridenour, Jimmy Scott (Dee) Ridenour, and Jennifer (Kevin) Kiske; loving grandfather to eleven; treasured great-grandfather of six; dear brother of John Carlos (Ann) Ridenour, and the late Laverne Coffman, Reeda Hale, Ilene Yackly Duncan, Mavis Vardell, Violet Snider, and Velma Ridenour. Jimmy is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jimmy proudly and honorably served in the Army Reserves where he also played Baseball. He was a member of Lake St. Louis Hardees Breakfast Group, Pezzimentis Group, and the Tuesday Night Car Club. Jimmy had a love of cars, Cleveland engines, Mustangs, his Corvette and many sports. He was a drag racer since his 20s and would participate in car shows and cruises. He was a Christian man who loved to sing and was always ready to help those in need. Many afternoons would find him relaxing in his backyard watching his waterfall. Known as Jimmy, Jim, Jimbo, Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Papa, Brother, Uncle, and friend to many. Jimmy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
