Jimmy Harold Freund

Jimmy Harold Freund of Chesterfield, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at the age of 78. Cherished son of the late Edgar Freund and Georgia Reifsteck; devoted father of Sherry (Jeff) Huber, Bobbie (Darryl) Droste, and Ricky Freund; beloved step-father of Carla (Paul) Renfro and Lloyd (Amber) Duvall; dear brother of Ted (Sheila) Bales and Sherry Chilton; loving grandfather of Andrew Huber, Alexander Huber, Austin Huber, Ryan Duvall, Shanna Freund, Preston Meier, and Stacey (Tyler Butler) Ferguson; treasured great-grandfather of Kamden Lichtenstein, Trey Ferguson, Tristan Butler, and Aria Butler.

Jimmy is also preceded in death by his cherished daughter, Sharon Brown, treasured grandson, Timothy Ferguson, and beloved dog, Roundabout.

Jimmy proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working with his hands, and is remembered by his family as a huge animal lover and always being the life of the party. In later years he loved spending time watching his favorite shows on television, especially NCIS, Law and Order, and TV Land, but most of all he enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Jimmy was a much beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
