Jo Ann Sengl (nee Faulkner), of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the age of 79. Loving wife of Eugene D. Sengl; beloved daughter of the late Dixie and Walter Faulkner; devoted mother of Craig (Mary) Sengl, and Keith (Paula) Sengl; cherished grandmother of Jordyn Sengl, Max Sengl, Rachel Sengl, and Megan Sengl; dear sister-in-law, Joanne (Chuck) Schroll and Sharon Schneider.
Jo Ann retired as a manager from Southwestern Bell after more than 20 years of employment. She was an avid golfer who loved playing several times a week, and she was very competitive, so whoever she played with needed to be on their ‘A’ game. She was a book enthusiast and enjoyed reading, especially historical novels. Jo Ann liked to play bridge, poker, and other card games, as well as Words with Friends. In her spare time, she also liked doing puzzles, crossword puzzles, and enjoyed outdoor activities
Jo Ann was always on board for an adventure and liked to travel, and she has been all over the world, including many parts of Europe, Asia, and Mexico. More than anything though, she cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jo Ann’s name to the
American Heart Association.
