Joan Crawford

Joan Crawford of Weldon Spring, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Forest Crawford; her children, Teresa (Tim Sr.) Sartors and Kenneth Crawford; and her parents, Harry and Bernice Baker.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Linda (Dennis) Kirkover; grandchildren, Curtis (Chrissy) McClanahan, Mathew (Alena) McClanahan, Scott (Sarah) McClanahan, Shawn (Jessica) McClanahan, Timmy Sartors, Jr., Tyler (Sara) Sartors, Zach Crawford, Luke Crawford, Kyle Kirkover, Ashley Kirkover, and Jacob Kirkover; and many great-grandchildren.

Whenever you thought of Joan, you thought of her husband Forest as well as they were simply the best complement to each other. They were together in marriage for a majority of their lives and they truly built a legacy together. Joan and Forest owned a farm in Fredericktown, Missouri for over 25 years and many fond family memories were made there over the years. For fun, Joan collected all kinds of angels, Christmas Santas, and Fenton glassware. She also was a fantastic cook who had many cookbooks that she made with her own recipes. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
