Joan Dallmeyer, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021, at the age of 90. Loving wife of George Henry Dallmeyer; beloved daughter of the late Paul Sr. and Eunice Blessing; devoted mother of Susan (Kevin) Green and Michael Dallmeyer; cherished grandmother of Kiley, Matt, and Chris; treasured great-grandmother of Kennedy and Avery. Joan is also preceded in death by her brother, Paul Blessing, Jr., and sister, Barbara Blessing.
Joan was a longtime member of Missouri Retired Teachers Association and Public-School Personnel. She was an original lifeguard at Blanchette Aquatic Facility, which is where she met her husband, George. They enjoyed a loving marriage for 67 years. Joan enjoyed traveling, her parents had a home in Woodland Park, CO and spent summers there visiting. She loved to play card games with friends, one of her favorite games was Bridge.
Joan was a 1
st grade teacher for 27 years with the St. Charles School District. She absolutely loved teaching and spending time with her family and friends. Every Friday night you could find Joan eating dinner at Pio's Restaurant and sipping on a Martini. She was quite the regular at Pio’s. Joan was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
