SPRAGUE, Joan E., of St. Charles, MO died, April 17, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on 27 June 1934 to James Francis Robson and Jeanetter Fisher Robson Koehnke of Pittsburgh, PA. Mrs. Sprague was a retired travel agent and homemaker. She served in the US Navy WAVES from 1952-1954 and was a member of the American Legion, a member of the St. Charles Senior Citizen Advisory Committee, Block Watch Captain, past member of the St. Charles "CERT" team, recipient of the "Crime Stoppers" award, member of the St. Charles Womens Bowling Association since 1963 and president of several bowling leagues and chairperson of the "BVL" (Bowlers to Veterans Link) in several leagues. She is survived by her two sons Robert & James of St. Charles, one daughter Laura of O'Fallon, two brothers, James ("Smoothy") Robson and Carl Koehnke, one sister, Teri Wilkes and many nieces and nephews all of Pittsburgh, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Nelson Sprague, her brother John (Moose) Robson and her mother and father.
