Joan E. Tilley Schwarz

Joan E. Tilley Schwarz (nee: Thomas), born October 17, 1920, of St. Charles, Missouri, died peacefully in her sleep on October 23. A memorial visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Baue Funeral Home Chapel, 620 Jefferson Street, St. Charles, MO, and a memorial service will be held at Baue Funeral Home on Monday, October 25 at 10:00a.m., followed by a private burial. Joan was the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Tom Thomas. She was a wife to the late David Tilley and the late Carlos Schwarz, a caring mother and devout Jehovah’s Witness who dedicated her life to bringing beauty, joy and faith to all she knew. She is survived by two children a son, David (Annie) Tilley and a daughter, Sigrid Brooks, one sister, Dorothy Lyster, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
