Joan Carol Flickinger

Joan Carol Flickinger (nee Ball), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Paul R. Flickinger; cherished daughter of the late Dorothy Ball and John Baldi; devoted mother of Paula (Steve) Waller, and Steven Flickinger; loving grandmother of David Waller, Karis (Zavier) Pitt, Tamara Waller, John Waller, Mary Waller, and Elisah Waller; precious great grandmother of Naomi Pitt; and dear cousin of Barb Wallin. 

Joan shared a blissful 65-year marriage with her cherished husband, Paul, engaging in various activities together, such as woodworking. Her personal interests included a passion for bowling and an avid involvement in doll collecting, amassing a diverse collection of dolls. Alongside her roles as a devoted mother and grandmother, she extended her warmth to numerous individuals beyond her immediate family, often hosting a multitude of kids at her home. Joan found joy in attending church, dedicating a significant portion of her time to her artistic pursuits, where drawing and painting held a special place in her heart. Joan was dearly loved, and her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
