Joan G. Keeney (nee Leigh), of Wentzville, formerly of Florissant, MO, Wednesday September 27, 2017, age 73. Loving wife of 55 years to Jerome Orlis Keeney, Sr.; beloved daughter of the late Wilburn A. and Eunice F. Leigh; devoted mother of Jerome Keeney, Jr. and Julie (the late Robert) Scott; cherished grandmother of Jacob and Emily Scott; treasured niece of Mary Ann Ruyle and William Chaudoin; she is survived by many cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Joan was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church and belonged to the Florissant Elks Lodge Ladies Auxiliary. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and caring grandmother. Joan was passionate about her family and dedicated to helping others. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Stroke Association, or the donor’s choice.
