Joan Haas

Haas, Joan, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the age of 85. Joan was born July 24, 1925 in Ottawa, Kansas. She was the daughter of the late Arch and Dorcas Gentry. Joan enjoyed a long and loving marriage with her late husband, Hy Haas. She took great pride in her home; appreciating her quality of life. She is survived by her sister, Grace Bain of Kentucky. Although the sisters lived apart a multitude of phone calls kept them close. She is survived by two nieces, Katy Bain and Betsy Lamb of Kentucky; one nephew, Casey Bain of Florida; great nephews, Jacob Bain of Kentucky and Billy, Adler and Major Bain of Florida; one great niece, Amanda Pence of Kentucky. She will be missed by devoted friends, Lisa, Jennifer, Rhonda, DeDe and George. Memorials may be made to Kidney Foundation.
