Joan King

Joan King (nee Sang), of Bridgeton, MO, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of James King; cherished daughter of the late Harriet and Charles Sang; devoted mother of Liz (Paul) Spell, the late James "Michael" (Kendra) King and Terra Buzzanga; loving grandmother of Ryan (Dawn) Spell, Nicole (Daniel) Hogan, Lindsay (Zachary) Arman, Mandy (Corey) Hertweck, Autumn (Kellen) Locke, Bryce King, Laura (Stan) Garner, Alyssa (Nate) Durham, Aaron (Portialyn) Buzzanga, Rachel (Aaron) Mansfield, and Sarah (Danny) Gallegos; treasured great grandmother of 18; dear sister of twin, Jean (James) Hulsey, the late Tony Sang, the late Jerry Sang, and the late Bobbie Prendeville. She is also survived by her dear four-legged friend, Penny. 

Joan was a caring and kind-hearted woman, known for her thoughtful spirit and deep devotion to her family. She celebrated over 68 years of marriage with Jim, creating many lasting memories. She always put her family first, whether it was an encouraging phone call, lending an understanding ear, or sending them a thoughtful card on their birthday. In her free time, Joan cherished spending time with loved ones and adoring her dog Penny, cooking for family, enjoyed playing bingo, visiting the casino, crocheting, and reading. Joan was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Joan's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
