Joan Virginia Kopf, (nee: Swoboda) age 79 of O’Fallon, Missouri, fortified with the sacraments of Holy Church on Friday, January 12, 2018.
Beloved wife of Don Kopf for 57 years; loving mother of Donna (Mike) Mellinger, Daniel (Vickie) Kopf, Diane (Jeff) Barone; cherished grandmother of Ryan and Tyler Kopf, Elise, Cullen, and Griffin Barone; dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Joan was born in St. Louis, MO. She was a secretary for an engineering company, for a judge and several doctor offices. Joan enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and she did charity work for various organizations. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dardenne in Dardenne Prairie, MO and a member of the ladies guild of the Knights of Columbus. Most of all, Joan loved spending time with her family. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association of St Louis.
