Joan M. Pieper

Joan M. Pieper was born to Gus and Elsie Weissinger on April 11, 1929 and passed away on August 9, 2019. Beloved wife of Edward A. Pieper who preceded her in death on January 4, 2010, devoted mother of Edward C. (Beverly) Pieper, David R. (Linda) Pieper and Rich "Rick" (Linda) Pieper, cherished grandmother of Sara (Nicholas) Bisgrove, Christopher (Maha) Pieper, Daniel (MinA) Pieper, Keli Horn, Robyn (Scott) Thomas, R. Ryan Reinheimer, and dear great-grandmother of Eddie Bisgrove, Parker Bisgrove, Brandon Thomas, Zachary Thomas, Cory Thomas, Max Pieper, Emmett Long, Luke Pieper, Jacob Pieper, Joey Pieper, Julie Pieper, Michael Javaux, Daniel Javaux, Margaret Horn and Shannon Horn.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, sister Betty Pauli, and great-granddaughter Katie Lynn Javuax. Joan's twin sister, Jean, passed away within the hour on the same day as Joan.

Joan, formerly of O'Fallon, worked for IGA Supermarket and Boatmen's Bank in O'Fallon, MO for 25 years and retired in 1982 to live in Theodosia, MO with her beloved husband, Edward until he passed away in 2010.

Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend was dedicated to her faith, lived a Christian life and will be greatly missed by all.
