JoAnn Elizabeth Black (nee Vessels), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Black, Jr.; cherished daughter of the late Paul and Arlene Vessels; devoted mother of Jill (Rick) Ellebracht, Thomas "Tom" (Hollie) Black III, Robyne (Mark) Keller, Kim Black, Chris (Sandy) Black and Byron (Sherry) Black; loving grandmother of Karie (Chris) Weber, Katie (Donnie) Fleming, Kyle (Lindsay) Ellenbracht, Corey (Sean) Johnson, Ryan (Bryan) Brennan, Jordan (Josh) Sampson, Thomas (Sarah) Black, IV, Lucas (Kristen) Black, Hannah (Tim Gasch) Black, Tonya (Tim) Adelmann, Allie Keller, Paul (Jessie) Davis, Glennon (Toni) Black, Trevor (Corey) Black, Madison Black, Tom (Casey) Black, Chelsee (Rual) Gonzalez and Emilee (Shane) Black; treasured great-grandmother of twenty-five; dear sister of Arlene (Gary) McIntosh, Sheila (the late Lonnie) Baldwin, Sandy (the late Gary) Torbert, Janice (the late Jim) Lowry, Paul Vessels and the late James Vessels; JoAnn is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

JoAnn enjoyed crafts and decorating her home. But most of all she loved being a homemaker and taking care of her family.

Memorials may be made in JoAnn's name to American Cancer Society.
