JoAnn Poggemoeller of Saint Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 96 on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Poggemoeller; her parents, John and Ramah Jones; her brother, John Jones Jr.; and her grandchild, Amy Marie Poggemoeller.
JoAnn is survived by her children, Donna Wallace, Judith Ann (Robert White) White, Linda Sue (Tom) Campbell, and Alan Curtis (Sharon) Poggemoeller; her grandchildren, Mark (Lisa) Poggemoeller, Jason (Christy) Jespersen, Amanda (Jason) Baker; her great-grandchildren, Ryan, Lauren, Cain, and Coryn; and her sister-in-law, Elva Seifert.
JoAnn was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Orchard Farm, MO. She had a compassionate spirit and selflessly volunteered her time to help others at DePaul Hospital and BJC St. Peters for many years. Golfing was very near to JoAnn’s heart and she enjoyed being an avid golfer for over thirty years. She loved to travel and over the years she made memories with her friends during their travels at exciting destinations such as Europe, Australia, and Alaska. Above everything, JoAnn loved her family and spending time with them was always the most important thing to her. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
