Joe Gore

Gore, Joe of Saint Charles, MO, died Monday, November 16, 2015, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine Lucile Gore; cherished son of the late Samuel Joseph and Ima D. Gore, Jr.; devoted father of Steve (Cathy) Gore; loving grandfather of Matt (Caroline) Gore, Katie (Eric) Blaha, Sean Gore, and Mark (Jackie) Gore; treasured great-grandfather of Sam Blaha, Anne Gore, and Molly Blaha; dear brother of Edward W. Gore, Jane (Dick) Farstad, and the late Bob Gore. He was a loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Joe had a passion for education, where he retired as the Dean of Education for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Joe also enjoyed the fine arts. He sang professionally, and was a soloist at Third Baptist Church of St. Louis. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
