John Anthony Allen, of Dardenne Prairie, MO, passed away Tuesday the 14th of January 2025 in his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents Warren R. & Vera Allen nee (Vito). He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Leila M. Allen nee (Baeumker). Loving Father of Edward J. Sr. & Cimmie Allen, John A. II and the late Lisa R. Allen nee (Salovich), James A. & Domenica Allen, Thomas J. Allen, Bruce & Michelle M. Bundy, Jr. nee (Allen). Cherished Grandfather & Great Grandfather of Edward Jr. & Jessica Allen (Stella & Jack) Allen, Caroline Porter & Adam Hompesch (Emma & Alexandra Porter), Katie Allen Pinkston (Aiden & Alyssa Pinkston), Chelsea Allen (Donovan & Declan Carrigan), Johnny III & Paula Allen (Theron Allen), Cal & Sara Jones nee (Allen), (Carter & Tucker LaRose), Jon & Lindsay Foster nee (Allen), (Clara Foster), Jimmy & Domenica Sansone, (Adriana, Jimmy III, & Colette Sansone), Thomas Dolan, Dustin & Hannah Byrd nee (Allen) (Dominic, Hailey, the late Emily, & Jaxon Byrd), Megan Allen Bundy, James E. Bundy & Catherine Behrens, Mark W. & Caroline Bundy. Loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

John built a successful HVAC company Abbey Heating & Cooling from the ground up. John loved playing his accordion & piano for all his family. John loved boating, skiing, flying and was a private pilot. John was a fun-loving person who would go the extra mile to help anyone. He loved spending quality time with his family. John loved playing his Wii game in his garage with his family and neighbor. He was constantly working on many projects. John loved debating politics and made sure you knew his stance. Everyone knew at birthday parties he would always say “I WANT CAKE”. John will be remembered for his great sense of humor and funny stories. He will be forever in our hearts & will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him.
