John Anthony Peters of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, August 30, 2019 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Gina Peters; loving father of James (Tina) Peters, and Matthew Peters; devoted grandfather of James and Anna Peters. Cherished son of Annette and the late Hank Peters; dear brother of Fran (Gary) Uthoff, Mike (Vicki) Peters, Rick Peters, and Jeff (Tracy) Peters; beloved brother-in-law of Dr. Roberta Brennan and Father Patrick Brennan, CP; dearest uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to so many, including Kaytlin Zacheis and her children Jacob and Mathew.
John loved family events, especially family lake trips. He loved to golf, fish, and play trains with his grandson, James. John always inspired others to enjoy life and to grow professionally and personally. He was truly an empathetic individual who always showed kindness and forgiveness to others. John was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in John’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Interment at Saint Charles Memorial Gardens will be immediately following Memorial Mass.
