John B. Gantney

Gantney, John B., of Warrenton, MO, died on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at the age of 91. Loving husband of Shirley M. Gantney; beloved son of the late Bernard and Elenore Gantney; devoted father of Terry (Kathleen) Gantney, Ruth M. Gantney, Chuck (Marlene) Green, Jr., Bill (Lynn) Green, Kathleen M. Leslie, and Kelly (Terri) Green; cherished grandfather and great-grandfather; dear father-in-law of Alma Gantney. He is preceded in death by his son Rick Gantney, his grandson Jason Gantney, his brother Richard Gantney, and his son-in-law Jr. Phillips.
John proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and was a member of the VFW Post 5077.  He loved camping, fishing, and spending time with his family.  He truly enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals in his spare time.  John was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
