John “Bob” Raters

John “Bob” Raters of O’Fallon, MO, died Thursday, September 17, 2015, at the age of 83.
Beloved husband of Betty L. Raters; cherished son of the late John and Lillie Raters; devoted father of Steve (Julia) Raters and Linda (Ron Reeves) Raters; loving grandfather of Anthony (Laura) Raters and Mathew Raters; cherished great-grandfather of Zachary and Zoey; dear brother of the late Dorothy Cherry.
Bob loved fishing, hunting, and woodworking. He also enjoyed photographing the moon through his telescope, working on crafts, and his computer. He truly loved spending time with his family, and taking care of any ‘Handy Man’ projects they had for him. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
