John Adrian Bogener

John Adrian Bogener, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the age of 74. Loving husband of Constance Ann Bogener; beloved son of the late Helen Glen and Elmer Edward Bogener; devoted father of Shawn Robert (Sheri) Bogener, Joshua Andrew Bogener, and Meghan Leigh (Matthew Frankovic) Frankovic; cherished grandfather of Caleb Robert Bogener, Riley Louise Bogener, and Oliver Michael Frankovic. John is also preceded in death by his daughter, Emily Ann Bogener and his brother, James Edward Bogener. 

John served his country with pride in the United States National Guard before embarking on a remarkable 46-year career at Boeing, where his work took him to every corner of the globe. John graduated from Tarkio College. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in fishing and duck hunting, eagerly anticipating his annual fishing trips to Canada with his sons and grandson. Whether on the water or exploring off-road trails, John's love for adventure knew no bounds. He actively contributed to both the Boy Scouts of America and his church, Church of the Shepherd. His fascination with airplanes led to cherished moments at air shows alongside his children and grandchildren. Above all, John cherished his role as a grandfather, treasuring every moment spent with his beloved grandchildren, particularly during Sunday dinners with his family. A devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues, he also enjoyed the camaraderie of Beer Ball for many years. John's warm presence and kind spirit will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
