John Covington

Covington, John "Roald,” of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the age of 91. Dear husband of Jean Mary McCoy Covington NEE: Newsham; beloved son of the late Gether Owen and Christine Covington; survived by his children Elaine (John) Naeger, Edward (Karon) McCoy, Diane (Don) Leahart, Christine (Harold) Walters Osorio, Robert (Wanda) Covington, Diane (Joe) Curry, Dorothy (Ronald) Gamble and Christina Keys. He is preceded in death by Siblings; Florence "Flossie" and Richard. John retired as Lieutenant from the Navy where he was a supply officer from 1936 to 1967. During his time in the Navy he learned to love travel. In his retirement he visited over 80 countries. John lived by the Golden Rule, loved taking pictures and considered himself a “high tech guy”.
