SINCLAIR, John Donald, St. Charles, MO, August 12, 2006 age 79; devoted husband of the late Helen Sinclair (nee: Nordmann); loving and caring father of Patricia (Lionel) York, Mark Sinclair; Kevin (Linda) Sinclair and Tom Sinclair; beloved and proud grandfather of Adrian, Colin, Jordan and Lynette York and Brian and Jason Sinclair; dear brother of Alice McMahon and Robert Sinclair; son of the late Charles and Marcella Sinclair. Mr. Sinclair was a graduate of Chaminade High School, class of 1945 and a retired Territory Manager for John Deere Company. He volunteered with many organizations, earning special recognition as a member of the St. Charles County Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Community Auto Ride Share and others. With his special passion for children, he was a staunch supporter and volunteer with the Court Appointed Special Advocates Association (CASA). John was a member of St. Roberts Catholic Church at the time of his death and was formerly of St. Cletus Catholic Church and a member of the “Senior Cletes” Group at St. Cletus. As a WWII veteran, he proudly served in the US Navy as a Cee-Bee, seeing active service from 1945-1946.
