John “Doug” McMahan

McMahan, John “Doug,” of O’Fallon, MO, died on Monday, September 12, 2016, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of 50 years to the late Gloria McMahan; cherished son of the late J.T. and Bennie McMahan; devoted father of Christine (Charles) Lea and Laurie (Dean) Rodriguez; loving grandfather of Jenna Rodriguez, Abigail Anderson, Jacob Anderson, and Tyler Rodriguez; dear brother of James McMahan and the late Joe McMahan. Doug is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Doug proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He went on to work for Mallinckrodt for over 37 years. He enjoyed listening to old country music such as Gene Autry and Patsy Cline. He also spent a lot of time working on his hot rods. You could always find Doug with a Pepsi and Fudge Rounds in hand. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who were his whole world. Doug was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
