John Droste

John R. Droste, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of 45 years to Carol Droste nee: Link; cherished son of Delphine Droste and the late Robert Droste; dear brother of Janis (Benny) Morrow, Allen Droste and Amy (Ronald) Ward; treasured uncle of Michael Morrow and the late Monika Addison; John is survived by many cousins, other relatives, and friends.
John was a member of Knights of Columbus and attended St. Cletus Church. He began his journeymen carpentry career with Al Droste and Sons Construction Company in St. Charles, MO. There he was a member of Carpenters Local 1987. Later John was employed by Emerson Electric and retired from Francis Howell School District. John was passionate about donating to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. He suffered from MS for 40 years, even rode in the MS 150 Bike Tour and would volunteer whenever he could to help raise money to find a cure for MS. John was a fun loving, hard worker with the best smile. John was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him including his beloved dogs Maggie, Angel, and Chloe. The family would like to thank Frontier Health and Rehabilitation and VITAS Hospice for taking good care of John in his time of need.
Memorials may be made in John's name to Catholic Masses, National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Stray Rescue of St. Louis Animal Shelter.
