Moore, John E., of Warrenton, Missouri, died on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the age of 84. Dearest husband of Marie E. Moore nee: Twiehaus; beloved son of the late Raymond and Ida Moore; devoted father of Beverly and Charlie (Mary) Moore; cherished grandfather of Christopher and Cate Moore; dear brother of Georgie (Bill) Brokaw and Renee Gibson and brother-in-law of Lawrence, Wilford (Ethel), Grace and Ruth Twiehaus. He is preceded in death by George (Dixie) Moore, brother; Anna Mae (Elwood) Daniel, sister; Goldie Moore, sister; Lewis Gibson, brother-in-law; Robert Twiehaus, father-in-law; Mabel Twiehaus, mother-in-law; Evelyn Twiehaus, step mother-in-law; Melvin Twiehaus, brother-in-law; Gladys (Oscar) Walterman, sister-in-law; Dorothy Wright, sister-in-law; Bobby Twiehaus, brother-in-law and Agnes Twiehaus, sister-in-law. John received an honorable discharge after serving in the United States Navy during WWII. He was employed at Ford Motor Company and worked as a Real Estate agent for many years and was a co-owner of L & M Realty. John was a member of The Shriner's and a 32nd degree Mason (Lodge #241) for over 50 years, as well as, a member of the Elk's Lodge, American Legion, and Friedens UCC. Throughout his life, John loved his family, friends, and country and never put himself ahead of others. He was greatly loved and respected by anyone who ever met him. Anyone can tell you that John never met a stranger. John will be deeply missed by those who are left behind as he begins his journey with our beloved Lord.
