John Elton James, 75 of Bridgeton, Missouri passed away on May 5, 2016 at Breeze Park rehabilitation facility in St. Charles, Missouri.
John was born October 28, 1940 in Butler, Missouri to Franklin Glen James and Allena Eliza (Martz) James. He married Mary Ann Boyer on January 14, 1961 in Warrensburg, Missouri.
John was baptized at Passaic Methodist Church in Passaic, Missouri and later attended Faith Baptist Church in Bridgeton, Missouri
John loved spending time with his family, he especially liked camping at the lake.
He enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors including fishing, archery, motorcycle riding, camping, gardening, watching baseball games and nature walks.
John is survived by his three daughters Kimberly James, Sheryl Kahn (Eliot), Jeannie Karr (Chris Kamper).
Grandchildren are Tashia Kersten, Cassie Kamper, Monica, Kristin and Breelyn Karr, Dakota and Kailyn Kahn and Kaden James.
His Great-Grandchildren are Johnathan Kersten, Jr., Wyatt Cato, Mason Brown and Baby Girl Karr.
He was honorary Grandpa to Joseph Brotherton, Clay and Pete Kahn, and many others.
He leaves behind other family members and many friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann (Boyer) James.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Charity of the donor's choice.
