John F. Spatz, Sr., of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the age of 66. Loving husband of Mary Spatz; dear son of the late William and Gertrude Spatz; devoted father of John (Amber) Spatz, Jr., Douglas Spatz, Dawn (Michael) Mueller, and Michael (Natalie) Spatz; cherished grandfather of John, Brett, Joseph "JT", Christian, Preston, Madison "Maddie" and Jenna; dear brother of Marlene (Don) Herbig, Darrell (Mary) Spatz, and the late Mervin Spatz.
John was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinals and Blues. In his younger years he loved playing horseshoes, bowling and shooting pool.
