February 2, 1946 — March 26, 2019
John Fuerst of Saint Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 73 on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Jo Fuerst; his son, Douglas Fuerst; and his parents, Francis and Aleta Fuerst.
He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Leilani Patterson and Jessica Beth Stabile; and his granddaughter, Michaela Elise Patterson.
John served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was a faithful member of The First Baptist Church-Winfield. He was a gun enthusiast with many hobbies and enjoyed being outside hunting, golfing, or riding a motorcycle. Friends and family will always remember how much John loved his family and how devoted a husband, father, and grandfather he was. He will be dearly missed.
