John J. Ellison, Sr.

Ellison, Sr., John J., of Saint Charles, MO, died on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at the age of 76. Loving husband of Susan Ellison; beloved son of the late Charles and Eleanor Ellison; devoted father of John (Donna) Ellison, Jr., Mary (James) Huff, Maggie (Jeff) O'Fallon, Kathleen (George) Buckingham, Kevin (Phyllis) Ellison, Timothy (Angela) Ellison, and step-daughter Sherry (Ron) Beasley; cherished grandfather of 27; treasured great-grandfather of 11; dear brother of Charlie Ellison, III; also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his previous wife Shirley Ellison and brothers Daniel Ellison and James Ellison.
John was a proud graduate of St. Louis University High School. He worked as a Computer Programmer for Matthew McCoy for over 25 years. Some of John's hobbies included: singing karaoke, bowling, golfing, woodworking, and boating. He was a proud supporter and actively involved in the Jamaganza Golf/Auction Event (sponsored by The Traffic Jam Lounge of St. Charles), in an effort to raise money for The Dream Factory of St. Louis. Most of all, John enjoyed having fun and making memories with his family and friends. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
