John J. “Jack” Giblin

Giblin, Sr., John J. "Jack", of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Barbara L. Giblin (nee Connor) and the late Peggy Tisius Giblin, the two women that were the loves of his life. Proud father of: Barb (Bob) Thompson, John (Sherri) Giblin, Katie (Don) Buchholz, Julie Connor, Jeff (Ruth) Connor, Kelley Giblin Ray, Paul (the late Kellie Connor) Dubuque, Micki (Jeff) Meyers, Dan (Judy) Giblin and Annie Connor Cammarata. Outstanding Grandpa of Megan, Nicki, Drew, Johnny, Brian, Kerri, Patrick, Matthew, Amy, Ronnie, Kevin, Brenden, Jeffrey, Austin, Shane, Sam, Luke, Joe, Samantha, Connor and soon to be great grandpa of Maya. Jack retired from the Post Dispatch after 43 years as a printer. A Korean War vet, Knights of Columbus, volunteer at Saints Joachim and Ann Care Service. He loved traveling, St. Louis sporting events, but most of all, he loved his big Irish family. The family has requested masses or donations on his behalf to American Heart Association or Saints Joachim and Ann Major Needs Fund.
