John “Jack” Elmer Cowgill, Jr.

John “Jack” Elmer Cowgill, Jr. of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at the age of 88. Loving husband of the late Evelyn Cowgill; beloved son of the late John Sr. and Maxine Cowgill ; devoted father of Kimberly Phelps and the late Stacey Cowgill; cherished grandfather of Amanda (John) Riegerix, Ashley Wolk, Kristopher Cowgill, and David Fears, Jr.; dear brother of Donna Holscher; brother-in-law of Elmer "Sonny" (Linda) Perschbacher and the late Art (Linda) Perschbacher.

Jack proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a Pressman, for 20 years at Buxton & Skinner and after retiring, committed many years to being a school bus driver to the St. Charles School District. Jack enjoyed BBQing and spending time with his beloved family. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Jack's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
