John “Jack” Loseman

Loseman, John J. “Jack” of St. Louis, MO, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017, at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Helen Loseman; cherished son of the late William and Mary Loseman; devoted father of Mary (the late Patrick) O'Brien; loving grandfather of Tim (Peggy) O'Brien and the late Tracey (Jay) Denney; and treasured great-grandfather of Jarrett, Kayla, Aubrey, and Kelsey.

John proudly served his county in the United States Army during the Kasserine Tunisian Campaign where he was wounded and taken prisoner. After being rescued he returned home and began working for a local printing company.   He loved being outdoors and spending time at the family farm in St. James, MO either hunting or fishing. His favorite activity was gardening and was very proud of his garden, many would say “he could make a stick bloom”. Above all else, John cherished his family and loved being a grandfather and great-grandfather. John was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
