John Curtis "J.C." Kilen

John Curtis "J.C." Kilen, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of 65 years to Jo Ann Kilen; cherished son of the late Curtis and Opal Kilen; devoted father of Jeffrey Kilen, Joel Kilen and Monica (Chris) Crutchfield; father-in-law of Paula Kilen; loving grandfather of Jennifer, Anglea, Emily, Parker and Grant; dear brother of James Kilen and the late Kenneth Kilen. 

J.C. proudly and honorably served in the United States Army.

Married to the love of his life Jo Ann for 65 years. J.C., a passionate lover of planes, cars, and racing, known for his infectious laugh and generous spirit, J.C. spent his life sharing his love for aviation and automobiles, attending races and shows across the country, and passing that passion down to his children and grandchildren. 

He never met a stranger and had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, whether by offering a helping hand with a home or car repair or sharing a good story. J.C. loved being able to laugh and making those around him laugh as well.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, J.C. was deeply loved by his family and will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and boundless generosity.
