John Kirk

April 8, 1946 — March 10, 2019

John Kirk, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the age of 72. Loving husband of 45 years to Betty S. Kirk; beloved son of the late Clair Kirk and Vera Margurette Empie; devoted father of Susan Hallamore, Timothy Brian (Amy) Kirk, Lea Anne (Tim) Ellison, and Jason (Jacinda) Kirk; cherished grandfather of Jessica McDonough, Christopher John (Katie) Ellison, Brittany McDonough, Jesse Kirk, John-David Wallace (Kayla) Kirk, Jordan Kirk, Taylor Ellison, Wyatt Hallamore, Christian Kirk, Sean Thomas Kirk, and Avery Brian Kirk; treasured great-grandfather of Madalin Ellison; dear brother of Gail (Greg) LaRock, Kristy (Gary) Evans, and Cynthia (Rick) Haynes; beloved uncle, and friend to many.

John proudly served his country in the United States Marines. He was a member of the Chapel of the Lake in Lake Saint Louis, MO. John loved the Lord. He was a father and mentor to so many and lived his life as God intended as a servant to all. Family and friends are rejoicing John’s graduation into the Heavenly realm. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. John was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in John's name to Chapel of the Lake Guatemala Missions.
