Preceded in death by parents, John L. Sr. and Blanche M. Strange, and one brother, Robert Stubbs. He is survived by his wife, Ada Delcia Strange, and children, John L. III, Timothy (Debra), Barbara Schumpe (Paul), and Patricia Strange Simmons. Survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
