John Mario Sciore

August 15, 1930 — December 15, 2020

John Mario Sciore, of Florissant, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Sciore; cherished son of the late Salvatore and Mary Sciore. Devoted father of John Mario (Jeanne) Sciore, Jr., Michael (Ewa) Sciore and Kathy (Mark) Brown; loving grandfather of Michael (Angelina) Brown, Matthew Sciore, Alicia (Tom) Lantzy, Andrew Sciore, Christina Pliske, Vincent (Nancy) Sciore, and Natalie (Shay) Kesterson; treasured great-grandfather of Kinley, McKenna, Beau, Noah, Mariana, and Hugh; dear brother of Salvatore Sciore, Louis Sciore, the late Vivian Igoe, and the late Rocco Sciore; uncle, cousin and friend to many.

John dedicated over thirty years working on jet fighters at McDonnell after serving in the United States Air Force. He was a devoted member of St. Sabina Catholic Church and was the cofounder of the St. Sabina Soccer Tournament. John was a man full of faith which he instilled in his children and grandchildren. He was a loving father who was always there to support his family through their sporting events and activities. John was a member of the Knights of Columbus and helped cofound the St. Thomas Aquinas Booster Club. He was a caring and compassionate man who enjoyed helping others through the Mens Club. In his free time, John liked to spend time with family and friends, especially his dear wife, the two being inseparable. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in John's name to Pancreatic Cancer.
