John Ragusa Jr.

John Ragusa Jr. of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 72 on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Joseph (Donna) Ragusa Sr. and Melba “June” (Gerald) Sims; and his sister, Judy (Dave) Cloninger.

John is survived by his wife, Beth Ragusa; his children, Susan Peters and Micki (Eric) Ragusa; his grandchildren, Haylie Peters, Jake Peters, Macy Peters, Anthony Ragusa, Samantha Nischbach, Jeremy Nischbach, Kylee Orf, Brooke Orf, and Summer Orf; his great-grandchild, Zeya Blanks; his siblings, Joey Ragusa, Tammy Ragusa, Autumn Ragusa, and Amber Ragusa; and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

John was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces and was involved with the VFW. He had many hobbies that he enjoyed such as playing billiards, riding motorcycles, and fishing. John was particularly fond of going on vacation with Aruba being his all-time favorite destination. Above everything, John loved to spend time with his family – especially his grandchildren whom he loved so much. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John’s name may be made to the Catholic Children's Home.
