John “Ray” Rayburn Gansner, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, April 2, 2021 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Dee Gansner; cherished son of the late John and Irene Gansner; devoted father of Sandy Hayes and John (Julie) Gansner; loving grandfather of Suzanne Hayes, Thomas Hayes, Jennifer (Mark) Jacoby, and John Michael (Cara) Gansner; treasured great-grandfather of Faith Jacoby, Chase Jacoby, Haley Gansner and Alia Gansner; dear brother of the late Bernice Primo; uncle, cousin and friend to many.
John was a real handyman. He dedicated over 20 years as a mechanic and loved to tinker with vehicles and work around the house in his free time, he could fix anything. John honorably served in the United States Navy. He loved to deep sea fish and spending time in Florida where he enjoyed the warm weather. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and uncle. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
