John Robert Szepanski

John Robert Szepanski, of Wright City, MO, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the age of 66. He died peacefully surrounded by family and friends at his home. John wasz the beloved husband of Sue Szepanski; cherished son of the late John R. Szepanski and Betty Szepanski; devoted father of Katey Szepanski, John Szepanski, Jr., and Jake Szepanski; dear brother of Jim Szepanski and Gail Burpo; brother-in law of Marie Szepanski, Kelly Dornan, and Mike Dornan.

John was an employee with Hussmann Refrigeration for over 30+ years. He had a never-ending passion for music. John was blessed to have played in several bands, including with his two sons over a span of 50 years. John enjoyed riding his Harley with family and friends. He also enjoyed camping, floating rivers, and traveling. John was not a carpenter by trade, but he and his wife built their home together. John fought the fight long and hard, with never a complaint. It was for his love of life, family, and friends. He will truly be missed. Fly high our love. Keep rocking until we meet again.

Memorials may be made in John's name to American Cancer Society.
