John Rogers

John L. Rogers, of Maryland Heights, Missouri, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of 60 wonderful years to Diana Rogers (nee Mayhew); son of the late John H. and Flossie Rogers; loving father of Michael (Lisa) Rogers, Jeffrey (Ronna) Rogers, Lisa (Philip) Rose, and Jon Rogers; cherished grandfather of Melissa Fons, Timothy Rogers, Courtney Rogers, Eric Rose, Justin Rose, Brent Rose, Jenna Rogers, Tyler Rogers, and Mackenzie Rogers; treasured great-grandfather of Parker Fons, Logan Fons, Milo Rogers, and Scout Rogers; dearest brother of Jeanette (William) Roberts and Jeane (Paula) Rogers.

John married the love of his life, Diana Rogers (nee Mayhew) on July 11, 1957. He graduated from the University of Kansas with his Bachelor’s Degree and eventually went on to earn his Master’s. John spent the majority of his working career as a guidance counselor and teacher for the Parkway School District. John and Diana are longtime members of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. John will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
