John T. Stamelos Sr.

John Thomas Stamelos, Sr., of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at the age of 95. Loving husband of the late Lorraine Marie Stamelos; beloved son of the late Angelo and Stella Stamelos; devoted father of John T. Stamelos, Jr., Michael Stamelos, and Joseph Stamelos; cherished grandfather of Jason Stamelos and John Frese; cherished great-grandfather of Killian Frese and Taylor Frese.  

John proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a part of St. Charles County Marine Corps League Detachment 725 and was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. In his leisure time, he found joy in hunting, fishing and golfing. A dedicated family man and hard worker, John supported his loved ones, relished travel, and delighted in square dancing with his wife. John was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
