John Stanley Bilderback
January 28, 1930 — December 3, 2017
John Stanley Bilderback of St. Charles, MO passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at the age of 87. The son of Stanley Lowell and Johnnie Mae Bilderback, John was born and raised in southern Indiana and spent his adult years in New Jersey and Missouri.
John was a lifelong learner, entering the University of Cincinnati at the age of 16, and graduating as an engineer, something special in that age of science and rapid advances in technology. He carried an engineer’s eye through the rest of his life, whether in his career, in his homes and rental properties, or any other aspect of his life. One of John’s last jobs was teaching engineering process to line workers to help them keep the line up and running. He had a great amount of pride in that work and his students. Even after retirement, John would stay connected to the world with a daily read of his Wall Street Journal and dedicated viewing of all things Fox News related!
John was admired by many as he was truly inquisitive, intelligent and engaging. He was a loving Brother, Father, Step Dad, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Friend.
His family would like to thank all that helped John in his final years – The staff at Twin Oaks, NHC Healthcare, Fresenius Dialysis and ITN Gateway.
A celebration of John’s life will be held on January 28th at 11AM at the Baue Funeral home at 311 Wood Street. O’Fallon, MO
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ITN Gateway.
