John W. “Jack” Parks

Parks, John W. "Jack", of Saint Charles, MO, died Friday, January 30, 2015, at the age of 87. Loving husband of Frances Deane Parks (nee: Chase); beloved son of the late Lillian Sampson Parks and the late Edward Parks; devoted father of John W. Parks, Jr. of Purcell, OK, Robert "Bobby" Parks of Tulsa, OK, Roxanne (Tim) Spaethe of St. Peters, MO, Charles "Chuck" (Jennifer) Parks of Roxana, IL, Susan (Tom) Caraway of St. Charles, MO, and the late Richard Dean Parks (Amber) of Tulsa, OK; cherished grandfather of Adam Parks of Oklahoma City, OK, Jacquelyn Spaethe of St. Peters, MO, Emily Parks of Tulsa, OK, and Aarol Parks of Tulsa, OK; treasured great-grandfather of Jayden Woods; dear brother of William (Julia) Parks of Sarasota, FL and Lois Ann Riehm of Clark, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Thomas Edward Parks.
Jack spent 41 years with the railroad; he started with Pennsylvania Railroad, Penn Central and then retired from ConRail in 1990. Jack proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII.
