John Wirkus

John Francis Wirkus of Saint Peters, MO, died on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Linda Wirkus; dear son of the late Kenneth Joseph and Mary Eleanor Wirkus; devoted father of Jessie R.W. (M. Roddy, Jr.) Haynes, Arin L. Paske, John D.S. Wirkus, David M.A. Wirkus; loving grandfather of Brennen R. Haynes, Caiden R. Haynes, Ryland A. Haynes, Adalyn I. Haynes, Bentley T. Haynes, Esmee F. Haynes, Ellie K. Paske, and Gracyn E. Paske; cherished brother of  Julie (James) Bergmann, Robert (Patricia) Wirkus, and the late Joy Ann Wolfe. He is also survived by one niece, two nephews, and other family and friends.
John worked at GSI Engine Management for 23 years as the Director of Research and Development. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Senior Elder for the past eight years. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
