Gideon (Dean), and Joyce Ann Bonney; grandfather of Jason, Rachel, Amy, Caleb and Elizabeth McCarty, Jamie and Cory Roberts, Dustin and Daniel Griffith; great-grandfather of Hailey McCarty. He was a member of New Salem Masonic Lodge #270 AF&AM Winfield MO; Scottish Rite 32nd degree; VFW Post #5517 Winfield MO; Moolah Shriners of MO; St. Peters American Legion Post #313 and U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary
