Jonathan David French, of Chesterfield, MO, was born on January 29, 1973, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 at the age of 48. Beloved husband of Elizabeth French; devoted and loving father of five beautiful girls: Katie French, Gwyneth French, Claire French, Evelyn French and Juliet French; cherished son of Bonnie Marie French and the late Warren D. French; dear brother of Delisa (Gary) Tuck and Carrie (Tony) Beason; loving uncle of Ethan Frana, Zachary Frana and Michaela Soliben.
Jonathan was a family man who loved God, who was dedicated to his wife and children. He loved music and composed original piano and synthesizer music.
He was a capable engineer for the Boeing Company. Competent, intelligent, helpful, he pioneered work on the MQ 25 unmanned refueling vehicle, Star-naming catalog (Boeing Satellite Systems), Satellite Systems Controls, and the UCAS vehicle/Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC). He excelled at mentoring and providing assistance to all who depended on him.
He loved to travel, having gone to Switzerland, Australia, Spain, France and England. Jonathan was a man who also loved to cook and use the best kitchen tools.
He was a devoted St. Louis Cardinals and Blues fan. He had a brilliant sense of humor.
Jonathan was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
