Jose Bello

September 18, 1961 — October 7, 2004

Jose was born September 18, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri to Jose Jr. and Carol Bello. He is survived by his son Michael Joseph Bello of Stevenson Ranch, California; mother, Carol Bello; sister, Lisa (Mike) Bello Reardon; nephews, Michael and Austin Reardon; niece, Josie Reardon, all of St. Charles, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Dolores Bello of Guam. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends, Judy and Gary Hill of Castle Rock, Colorado. His father, Jose Bello Jr. precedes Jose in death. Mr. Bello received his education in the Hazelwood School District in Missouri. He then attended Western Illinois University and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and received his Bachelors Degree in music from Metro of Denver in Colorado. He had been employed as associate organist at Central Christian Church in Denver and an accompanist for the Colorado Children's Choral. Donations may be made to the Michael Joseph Bello Trust Fund, Metropolitan College of Denver, Music Department. Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other that we still are. Call me by my old familiar name. Speak to me in the very easy way, which you always used. Put no difference in your tone; wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughted at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Pray, smile, think of me, and pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that I always was, let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of shadow on it. Life means all that I ever meant. It is the same as it ever was; there is unbroken continuity. Why sould I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well.
