Dearest husband of Gilda da Silva; dear son of the late Joao Bento and Venina Antonia Moraes da Silva; devoted father of Marcus da Silva, Anne (Tom) Moreland, Flavio da Silva, Jacqueline (George) Stephen, Pascal (Marta) da Silva, Anelise (Chris) Mossinghoff, Patricia (Chuck) Depner, David (Cynthia) da Silva and the late Pierre da Silva; beloved grandfather of 20 and great-grandfather of 4; dear brother of Iolanda da Silva Lund. Joe was a Psychatrist at Missouri Department of Mental Health for various hospitals/Catholic Family Charities Comtrea. He was a member of the American Medical Association and American Psychiatric Association.
